Returning a car

If your vehicle is owned by LeasePlan (you can check the owner from the vehicle registration), you should return it at the end of the contract period to LeasePlan’s return office.

Vehicles will be thoroughly checked when returned. In order for this to be possible, you should have the car washed and cleaned. All scheduled servicing and repairs need to have been performed. If the vehicle’s age is 35 months or more, you must take the vehicle for a technical inspection before returning it.

When returning the vehicle, remember to bring with you all the vehicle keys and accessories delivered for it during the contract period, such as the second set of tyres, the lead for the block heater and the roof rack.

The process of returning and checking the vehicle will take 15 minutes. Book a suitable return time in the reservations calendar . You can make a reservation up to 6 weeks in advance of the expiry of the contract. A reservation confirmation will be sent to your mobile phone or e-mail address. If the time you have reserved is no longer suitable, you can change or cancel it by logging in to the reservations calendar. You can enter your vehicle registration number as the user ID. If you were unable to make a reservation, please contact LeasePlan’s customer service (tel. +358 207 420 800) and we will reserve a suitable time for you.

If you are unable to return your vehicle to a LeasePlan return office, you can arrange for your vehicle to be picked up by clicking on this link .
The fee for picking up the vehicle will be charged to your company, so please check in advance that your company will accept to pay the fee.

Once you have filled in the pick-up order form, you will receive a copy of the order in your e-mail. NOTE! If, for some reason, you do not receive confirmation by e-mail, please contact LeasePlan’s customer service ( asiakaspalvelu@leaseplan.fi or tel. +358 207 420 800) in order to confirm the pick-up.

A vehicle that is picked up to be returned must have the second set of tyres and all its accessories (including spare keys) on board.

The vehicle’s user is responsible for returning the vehicle, and the contract will expire only after LeasePlan has received the vehicle.

What transport connections can I take from the return office?

Bus:
The closest bus stop is on Kehä III. Turn right from the yard, heading towards Nuolitie. The bus stops are about 200 metres away on Kehä III. You can take the following bus lines to Helsinki: 50, 51, 56, 362 and 453.

Train:
The nearest train station is Vantaankoski, which is about 5 km away. The following bus lines will take you to the train station: 52, 53 and 56.
